The information below will review our "best practices" and how to implement them to get the most out of your Shopper Approved service.

Adding "About Us" content

This is where Google crawls for keywords to help you rank higher in search, and once added this will also create a spot for your site in our Shopper Approved directory. This should include any keywords you are currently bidding on. Reference this article for a great About Us: http://help.shopperapproved.com/en/articles/6954219-shopper-approved-about-us-template

You can find this section by going to Review Tools > Certificate Options.

Adding your Business Contact Information and Logo

Having the contact information the same as what is shown in your Google Business account can help our reviews display in the "Reviews from the web" section and will display in your certificate page.

You can add this by clicking on your name > Settings > Business Information / Upload Logo.

Enabling Review Reminder Emails

This will allow the customer to take the survey directly from their email, instead of clicking on a link to go to the survey: https://app.screencast.com/8lVg6qBfglNM4.

You can find this section by going to Review Tools> Review Reminders.

Enabling our "Email All" feature

If "Email All" is enabled, it sends a follow-up survey to all customers who place an order on your site, whether or not they completed the pop-up survey at checkout, increasing the overall number of reviews.

To enable "Email All," you will need to auto-populate the customer's information on our thank-you page code and send us a link to your privacy policy stating that customer information will be shared with third parties.

This can be found under Setup > Seller Ratings.
(Once turned on, the thank you page code must be re-added).

Enabling "Mandatory Comments"

Google requires that only post-fulfillment (full), survey reviews with comments are syndicated to them. Because of this, we strongly recommend clients make comments mandatory on their surveys, increasing the number of reviews that can be syndicated with Google.

This can also be found under Setup > Seller Ratings.

Adding our seal and widgets to your site

Although not mandatory, we strongly recommend including our seals and widgets on your site. Both of these greatly increase a customer's trust in the site and work in unison to help your certificate page rank well in organic searches.

You can find the code for these under Seals & Widgets > Manage Seals / Review Page Widget.
