How to enable the Email All feature

This article explains how to enable the "Email All" feature to send full review requests to all customers who checkout on your website.

What is Email All?

Email All is a setting that when enabled sends the post-checkout "full" review request to every customer who purchases on your website. When Email All is activated, Shopper Approved sends the follow-up survey to all customers who place an order on your site even if they skipped the initial pop-up survey at checkout.

Why Email All is recommended

Email All should help increase the conversion rate for the number of full survey reviews and product reviews (if applicable) you collect by sending a review request to every customer who places an order. The more reviews collected with Shopper Approved the more credibility and visibility you receive online.

If you're running Merchant ads or Product Listing Ads (PLAs) in Google, Email All can help you meet Google requirements faster to display stars in your ad campaigns.

What's required for Email All to be enabled?

Auto-populate the customer's email address at checkout

First, you'll want to verify that the Shopper Approved checkout "initial" survey code placed on your checkout page is optimized to auto-populate the customer's email address at checkout.

If Shopper Approved is doing your integration we’ll take care of this for you. If you’re doing the integration internally please follow the applicable integration documentation provided to you and available in our help center here.

Ensure your Privacy Policy is updated

For Email All to be enabled, you'll want to make sure that the posted privacy policy on your website notifies your customers that you may share their email address with third parties. If possible, it may be best to consult with your legal advisor for an exact statement.

How to enable Email All

Users with Admin access can activate Email All by going to (top-left drop-down > Setup > Seller Ratings > Send emails to all customers who check out (No opt-in)).

What does Email All look like when activated?

Without Email All enabled, customers must opt-in on the Initial "pop-up" survey at checkout to receive a follow-up email from Shopper Approved requesting a full review. Once Email All is enabled the opt-in will be removed from the initial survey at checkout and we'll automatically send the follow-up email to all customers who checkout (as long as the requirements above are met).

Below is an example of an Initial survey without Email All enabled. Note that the opt-in is still visible on the survey.
