How does Shopper Approved work?

This article explains the different ways you can collect reviews with Shopper Approved.

Updated over a month ago

A typical integration with Shopper Approved includes a checkout ("initial") survey along with a post-fulfillment ("full") survey that is collected through a follow-up email.

Collecting with our survey automatically:

If our checkout page code is integrated on your order confirmation page, a pop-up survey will be triggered upon customers' checkout. From there, our system will send a follow-up email x days later (set to your preference) to collect the customer's "full", post-fulfillment review.

We also have an "Email All" feature, which, once enabled will send the follow-up survey to all customers who place an order on your site, whether or not they completed the pop-up survey at checkout.

To enable "Email All," you must auto-populate the customer's information on our thank-you page code and send us a link to your privacy policy stating that customer information will be shared with third parties.

This can be found under Setup > Seller Ratings.
(Once turned on, the thank you page code must be re-added).

Collecting with our link to survey manually:

If you do not have an order confirmation page, we can provide you with a link to the survey for you to manually send your customers. To do this, you will need to agree to not incentivize for good reviews as this is against Google's policy.

Please email [email protected] to get your review link.

Collecting with our email blast:

We can email your past customers within the last 12 months and ask them to leave review for your company.

In order to do this, we will needour email blast template here filled out for the domains you wish to do an email blast for. (If you have more than one domain, we need one file for each).

Note: We can only send out an email blast for customers who are not already in our system. Sending an email blast is a great way to jumpstart your review collection when getting started or if you have a gap in review collection.
