Your seller and product reviews are found in multiple locations online via organic search results and ads.

Seller Ratings

Seller Ads

Before you will see stars in your seller ads, Google requires 100 full survey reviews with qualified comments in the last 12 months. Once you have met Google's requirements, your seller ad should display your overall star rating and review count.

Note: Please keep in mind that Google has its own criteria for qualifying reviews by running its own algorithms through your reviews collected by Shopper Approved. If you feel you have met their requirements, but are still not seeing stars in your Google seller ads, please contact Google: https://support.google.com/google-ads/gethelp.

Google Seller Ratings Page

You can check your Google Seller Rating Page status at this link: https://www.google.com/shopping/ratings/account/lookup?q=yourdomain.com

Replace yourdomain.com at the end of the url with your own domain for your seller ratings page results.

You will see your overall star rating, number of reviews, percentage of positive feedback, a breakdown of your review rating, and the actual reviews with comments.

If you have not yet met Google's requirements of 100 reviews with qualified comments in the last 12 months, you may see this instead:

Shopper Approved Certificate Page

As a client of Shopper Approved, we host your reviews on your own certificate page which can be organically searched in Google. By searching in Google with "yourdomain reviews" or similar, your certificate result will appear on the search engine results page. The star rating and review count reflect your review collection with Shopper Approved.

When you visit the certificate page, your seller and product reviews are available to view. You can hand-select featured seller reviews from your Shopper Approved account. These hand-picked reviews will be displayed first. This page also includes a link to your website to drive more traffic to your site.

Seller reviews page on your site

By typing in "yourdomain reviews" or similar in Google, you may also get a search result for your dedicated reviews page. Your reviews page lives on your site and hosts all the seller reviews you have collected with Shopper Approved.

When clicking on the search result, you will be taken to your dedicated reviews page on your site. These are the same seller reviews on the certificate page but this helps to drive traffic directly to your site.

If you do not yet have a dedicated seller reviews page, you can simply add this to your site by placing the Shopper Approved reviews page code. This code can be found in your Shopper Approved account under the main drop-down menu> Seals & Widgets > Review Page Widget.

Seller Review Rotating Widget (on your site)

If you would like to feature 5-star reviews, you can add a seller review rotating widget. You can display up to 5 reviews at a time either horizontally or vertically. To add this to your site, place the Shopper Approved review widget code to your desired location on your site. This code can be found in your Shopper Approved account under the drop-down menu > Seals & Widgets > Rotating Widget.

Product Reviews

Product Listing Ads

For product listing ads, also known as PLAs, Google requires 50 overall product reviews with qualified comments from your entire product collection that do not mention shipping or delivery.

To find a Product Listing Ad on Google, type in "yourdomain with product name" or "product name" in Google. You can also do this in the Shopping tab. You can see the overall star rating and review count for that particular product. If you click on that ad, you will be taken to that product page on your site.

If you are collecting product reviews with us, you can find your product review count in your Shopper Approved account. You can access this product information by clicking on the 3 horizontal bars (hamburger menu) in the top left-hand corner of the screen and selecting Product. From there, head to your Product List tab to see a list of your products that have received reviews.

On the Products List page, you will see the number of reviews collected per product. Let's imagine this domain has met the 50 overall product reviews requirement. In the image below, any product that has received a product review would be eligible for stars to show in their Product Listing Ads.

Note: Please keep in mind that Google has its own criteria for accepting reviews. Once we submit reviews to Google, they run their algorithms and some reviews may not be counted as qualified reviews. If you are not seeing stars in your ads, but you believe you have met the requirements of the 50 Rule, please contact Google at: https://support.google.com/google-ads/gethelp.

Certificate Page - Product Reviews

Just like the seller reviews, your Shopper Approved certificate shows all your product reviews collected with Shopper Approved.

Individual Product Page (on your site)

If you are collecting product reviews with Shopper Approved, you will see the overall star rating and review count near the name of your product on that particular product page.

If you click on the review count (20 reviews), you will be navigated to the actual product reviews. These are the same reviews that live on your certificate page but here they are specific to this product.

If you have not yet collected reviews for a particular product, you can display seller reviews as a fallback until you have received product reviews.
