How do I edit the email my customers receive after checkout?

Here's how to edit the follow-up email your customers receive post purchase.

You can edit the follow-up email by logging into the Shopper Approved dashboard and selecting the drop-down menu > Setup > Seller Ratings:

From there, scroll down to the section "Customize settings for your Initial/Follow-up Survey" and click on "Customize your followup email":

Please make your desired edits to both the “Plain Text Version” and also to the “HTML Version.” Email providers may display either version so to be safe we recommend filling out both. This outcome is based on your customer's email settings.

Please leave the Shopper Approved variables and do not remove the link to the survey.

How do I add a logo into the followup email?

If you are familiar with HTML/CSS, you can add that code into the HTML version of the email to add a logo.

Approving your changes

Once the edits have been submitted, the email will be sent to Shopper Approved Support to review the email to ensure there has been no incentivization in exchange for good reviews. See here for Google's guidelines against incentivizing for reviews.

You will then receive an email letting you know if the changes were approved or denied.Please not this can take up to 72 hours for a response.
