We have recently updated our email notifications! The following is an overview of the different email types and what you can expect when you opt into each one.

Review Summaries
If you opt to receive the Daily Summary, every morning you will receive an email with the subject line “Here's Your Daily Snapshot from Shopper Approved”. This email breaks down the total store ratings, product reviews, and pending media from the day before. Coming soon we will have a weekly option, as well as a mandatory monthly summary.
Keep in mind that for space, we aren’t able to highlight every review or show a thumbnail of every pending media if you receive a high volume of reviews in a day. Eventually, we will have a daily roll-up option that shows review text of important reviews. For now, if you want to see individual review content, please make sure you’re receiving individual review notifications in your settings.
If you don’t want to receive the Daily Summary, make sure to toggle this option off:
Checkout and Follow-up Survey Reviews
These emails are sent after a customer fills out the Shopper Approved survey presented to them after purchasing from your site, or the follow-up survey that is sent to them later, according to your settings. You can opt to receive a notification every time a new review is received, or only if the review is of a certain star rating.
Subject lines for these notifications are “Congratulations! You've received a positive review” or “You've received a review that may need attention”. Here are some examples:
All email notifications for Checkout and Post Fulfillment Survey reviews show Store Reviews first, followed by Product Reviews (if applicable), and then associated Media last (if applicable).
Clicking “Unsubscribe from the list” will automatically unsubscribe you from review notifications. Clicking “Manage Email Preferences” takes you to your opt-out preferences where you can choose to unsubscribe if you’d like.
Emails regarding critical reviews include convenient options for addressing them:
The "Respond to Review" button will take you to the specific review with the "Make a Public Company Response" box open, while the "Contact Customer" link takes you to the specific review with the "Submit a Response to Customer" box open.
Rerated Reviews
You also have the option to be notified anytime a customer has updated their rating on a review that you publicly responded to.
Pending Media
You can also opt to receive notifications about pending media, either as in-app notifications (that display when you click the notifications bell in the top right side of your Shopper Approved dashboard), or as email notifications:
