When to import product reviews
Reviews are usually imported when using our service for the first time, or when switching back to Shopper Approved from a different review platform. Reviews are imported so you don't lose out on what you've already collected and to help provide a jump-start on your review collection.
Requirements for importing product reviews
Reviews must be collected from another review management platform such as Yotpo, TrustPilot, Power Ratings, Reseller Ratings, etc.
Content License Agreement (CLA) reviewed and signed verifying you have ownership over the reviews and that Shopper Approved has permission to import. The CLA also releases Shopper Approved from liability if any conflicts happen due to us using your previous reviews. We absolutely cannot import reviews without first having the CLA signed for liability reasons. If you need a copy of our CLA please reach out to your dedicated onboarding specialists. If you have not been assigned an onboarding specialist, please contact our dedicated support team at [email protected].
Product review import file of your past product reviews in the proper format. After you have made the necessary changes, you can resend us the file and we can upload it for you. (see below for formatting guidelines).

Troubleshooting
What to do if you notice issues with the reviews after we have imported them
If you notice any issues, please reach out to your dedicated onboarding specialist. If you have not been assigned an onboarding specialist please reach out to our dedicated support team at [email protected] with detailed information about the issue you're having. We will look into the issue and either resolve the issue on our side if it is something caused by our system, or we will let you know what changes will need to be made to the file so that we can remove and re-import the reviews.
