We have updated our Shopper Approved Seals. They’ve been completely rebuilt in SVG format, bringing you two brand-new styles, more customization options than ever before, and a crisper, faster experience on all screens.
With this upgrade, your seals not only look sharper but also perform better, especially when displaying dynamic content. Whether your visitors are browsing on desktop, tablet, or mobile, your seals will scale perfectly and stay crystal clear.
What’s New
Two New Styles: Premium & Premium Mini
Premium – includes your site’s name right on the seal.
Premium Mini – a simplified version without your site name.
Both styles are sleek, modern, and designed to blend seamlessly with your brand.
Enhanced Customization Options
The new Premium seals offer significantly more ways to make your seal your own, including:
Background color
Border on/off
Shopper Approved branding on/off
Star color (gold, white, or custom)
Seal size
Static or floating display
Custom text (e.g., “Sunshadeshop” instead of “Sunshadeshop.com”)
This means your seal can match the exact look and feel of your site.
Smarter Display Options
With Premium and Premium Mini, you can now choose how your reviews are displayed:
Review Count + Average Rating (default)
Average Rating Only
Total Review Count Only (with customizable text color)
This flexibility ensures your visitors see the trust signals that matter most to your business.
Classic Styles: Now Sharper Than Ever
If you prefer your current seal design, no worries — we’ve upgraded all existing styles (Classic, Classic Mini, Stacked, Plaque, and Basic) to SVG as well.
A few things to note:
Some style names have changed:
Classic = Standard (Large)
Classic Mini = Standard (Small)
Basic = Minimalist
SVG seals do not rotate. If you enable rotation in your dashboard, the seal reverts to a GIF (which may appear blurrier).
Classic styles always display the Shopper Approved logo in color (black-and-white logos are available only in the new Premium styles).
Star color is determined by your background (gold stars for light backgrounds unless using the default black or blue stars and white stars for dark backgrounds).
How to Get Started
Log in to your Shopper Approved account.
From the main menu, go to Widgets > Store Ratings > Seals.
Create a new preset.
Select your seal style and customize it.
Save your changes, then copy and paste the code to the location on your site where you want your seal displayed.
👉 If the code is already installed on your site (for example, by Shopper Approved during integration), your updates should go live automatically after saving. However, if you don't see the update, reach out to us and we will help.
💡 Pro tip: Create multiple presets — one for desktop and one for mobile, or one in your header and one in your footer — for maximum flexibility.

Important Notes
For security reasons, we strongly recommend not displaying seals on checkout pages where credit card information is collected.
SVG seals are not yet available in the Shopify or WooCommerce apps, but they’re coming soon! In the meantime, our team can manually install them for you — just reach out.
