Shopper Approved Trust Seals display your total number of ratings, overall 5-star rating, and company name, giving visitors instant social proof. Clicking the seal opens your certificate page, showing detailed rating statistics and customer reviews to educate, entice, and motivate potential buyers. Beyond conversion, the seal also benefits SEO — it shows Google the relationship between your certificate page and your website when crawled, helping you rank higher and earn organic star ratings in search results.
You can find seals in your dashboard by clicking (top-left menu > Widgets > Store Ratings > Seals).

To customize your seal, click the "Create a New Preset" button, name your preset, customize the settings, and save your changes. You will then place the newly generated code on your site.
What can I customize?
You can customize color, select style options, placement, size and more.
First, choose one of our 7 styles:
Premium & Premium Mini Seals
Premium – includes your site’s name right on the seal.
Premium Mini – a simplified version without your site name.
Both styles are SVG format, sleek, modern, and designed to blend seamlessly with your brand.
Enhanced Customization Options
The new Premium seals offer significantly more ways to make your seal your own, including:
Background color
Options to display review count, average rating, or both
Shopper Approved branding on/off
Border on/off
Static or floating placement
Star color (default gold or a custom color)
Seal size
Custom text (e.g., “Sunshadeshop” instead of “Sunshadeshop.com”)
This means your seal can match the exact look and feel of your site.
Smarter Display Options
With Premium and Premium Mini, you can choose how your reviews are displayed:
Review Count + Average Rating (default)
Average Rating Only
Total Review Count Only (with customizable text color)
This flexibility ensures your visitors see the trust signals that matter most to your business.
Classic Styles
In addition to the two premium seals, we also have five SVG classic styles you can choose from as well:
Customizations include changing the background color, choosing to have a static or floating seal placement, and seal size. You can also choose the name that appears on the seal.
A few things to note:
Classic styles always display the Shopper Approved logo in color (black-and-white logos are available only in the new Premium styles).
Star color is determined by your background (gold stars for light backgrounds unless using the default black or blue background, and white stars for dark backgrounds).
Classic styles can be converted from SVG to GIFS that rotate between review count and star rating. The GIF version will rotate only one time on each page due to ADA-compliance.
Seals in SVG format have a sharper appearance and better performance compared to GIFs, especially when it comes to scaling for different screen sizes and displaying dynamic content. However, if you'd prefer to convert your seal from SVG to GIF so that it can rotate, please reach out to [email protected] for assistance. Rotating GIFs are only available for the classic styles.
Adding the seal to your site
Once you have customized the seal to your preference, copy and paste the code snippet into the desired location on your site. The most common locations are in the header and/or footer for static seals, and the corner of your site for floating seals:
You can have more than one preset if you'd like to have more than one seal in different locations (such as one in the header and one in the footer).
Notes:
The seal will not display until you have collected 10 reviews.
The seal will rotate only one time due to ADA compliance. For a static seal, we highly recommend using one of our SVG seals.
For security purposes, the seal should NEVER be placed on pages where credit card information is entered.
