Review Badges are the next generation of Milestone Awards, offering more customization, flexibility, and display options than ever before. They're a powerful way to showcase your reputation, highlight your achievements, and build trust with shoppers.


Who can display Review Badges?

Review Badges are available in your dashboard from Day 1, where you can create and customize as many as you'd like. However, you are not eligible to display or download your badges until you've collected 50 or more 5-star reviews.



What's New?

Review Badges include a variety of new customization options that weren't available with Milestone Awards, including:

  • Multiple badge designs and styles

  • Transparent background options

  • Custom sizing controls

  • Custom colors and gradients

  • Text color customization

  • Multiple display options:

    • 5-Star Ratings

    • Overall Star Rating

    • Total Review Count

    • Or any combination of the three

  • Create custom "Badge Lock-Ups" displaying multiple trust signals together

  • Display multiple badge designs throughout your website

  • Download badges as SVG or PNG files for use in:

    • Email campaigns

    • Marketing materials

    • Social media

    • Promotional material


What hasn't changed?

While Review Badges offer many new capabilities, several core features remain the same:

  • Badges automatically update as you reach new milestones

  • Clicking a badge opens your Shopper Approved certificate page

  • Existing Milestone Award designs are still available

  • No manual maintenance is required


Customizing Review Badges

To customize your Review Badges, navigate to:

Widgets → Store Ratings → Review Badges

From here, you can:

  • Edit an existing badge

  • Create a new badge

  • Duplicate badge designs for use in multiple locations

Match Your Brand

Review Badges are designed to fit seamlessly into your website's branding.

  • Colors

  • Gradients

  • Fonts

  • Text colors

  • Badge size

To make customization easier, we've included an Inspiration Gallery featuring professionally designed selections.

When you select a design from the inspiration gallery, the badge automatically applies the colors, fonts, and settings used in that design, making it easy to achieve a polished look in just a few clicks.

If you prefer, you can also start from scratch by selecting All Badge Styles.

Available Badge Styles

We currently offer 10 badge styles: Laurel, Clean, Medallion, Header Plaque, Icon, Shape Header, Trustmark, Circle, Stamp, and Hexagon.

Badge Customization Options

Depending on the style selected, you can customize:

Universal Options

  • Font color

  • Star color

  • Dark mode theme

  • Badge size

  • Display:

    • 5-Star Rating

    • Overall Star Rating

    • Total Review Count

    • Combination of all 3

  • Remove star display

  • Combine multiple trust metrics

Medallion

Interior fill, outline color, outer fill, ribbon color

Header Plaque

Drop shadow, outline color, primary and secondary font color

Icon shape, color, and style (outline, solid, texture); background container fill and outline colors, drop shadow

Shape Header

Fill and outline color, drop shadow, card fill and outline color

Trustmark

Background Color, Border style and color

Circle

Inner fill color, outline color, ribbon color, and inner decoration color

Stamp

Shape fill and outline color, inner circle fill and outline color, ribbon color

Hexagon

Inner fill and outline color, ribbon color

Once you've finished customizing your badge, click Size & Name Your Widget to finalize sizing and save your design.

Create a Custom Badge Lock-Up

Review Badges can be combined into a custom badge lock-up that highlights the trust signals most important to your business.

Choose up to three metrics:

  • 5-Star Review Count

  • Total Review Count

  • Average Star Rating

Mix and match these badges to create a trust story that best represents your brand and achievements.

Easily add or remove to create the design that best suits your site. You can even drag and drop to reorder.

Display your badges anywhere

One of the biggest advantages of Review Badges is flexibility.
​

You can:

  • Display badges in multiple locations across your website

  • Create unlimited badge designs

  • Use different styles in different areas of your site

  • Download badges as SVG or PNG files

Downloaded badges can be used in:

  • Email campaigns

  • Marketing materials

  • Social media posts

  • Print assets

  • Presentations

Managing Existing Badges

After naming and saving your badge, you'll be able to:

  • Copy embed code

  • Download SVG files

  • Download PNG files

  • Edit existing designs

If the embed code for a badge is already on your site, editing that badge in the dashboard will update it live on your site once saved.
