How to Enable YouTube Syndication and Publish Shopper Approved Video Reviews to Your YouTube Channel

Updated over a week ago

Collect Video Reviews with Shopper Approved

Before enabling YouTube Syndication, you must first have Video Reviews enabled in your Shopper Approved account. If you have not set this up yet, please follow the steps in this article to begin collecting Video Reviews.

What is YouTube Syndication?

Once you are collecting Video Reviews, you can have them syndicated to your company's YouTube Channel.

Follow the steps below!

Step 1: Enable YouTube Syndication in the Shopper Approved Dashboard

There are two locations in which you can enable YouTube syndication in the Shopper Approved dashboard. The first location is within the Media > Media Moderation section.

Towards the top of this page, click on the blue "Enable YouTube Posting" button.

Here you'll be asked to authorize Shopper Approved to post video reviews to your YouTube account and sign in.

The second location is by going to Review Tools > Social Media Syndication within the Shopper Approved dashboard.

Here you'll see the YouTube Syndication card and click on the "Go to YouTube Settings" button.

Next, you'll be asked to authorize Shopper Approved to post video reviews to your YouTube account. Click on the blue "Enable YouTube" button to complete the rest of the setup.

Step 2: Publish Approved Video Reviews to YouTube

After connecting your YouTube account to the Shopper Approved dashboard, video review syndication is not automatic. Each approved video must be published individually so you can add a title, description, and any other required details.

To publish a video, go to Media > Media Moderation and click the "Details" button on the video you want to syndicate.

In the details section, select the "Publish to YouTube" button. Complete the required fields and confirm to publish the video.

You will need to repeat this process for each video you want syndicated. Once published, your approved video reviews will appear on your YouTube channel and even can be shared across other platforms.

Please note that YouTube automatically categorizes any video under 60 seconds as a "Short." If you syndicate a video shorter than 60 seconds, it will appear in the "Shorts" section of your YouTube channel.

Conclusion

Enabling YouTube syndication for your channel is a simple process that can greatly benefit your channel and online reputation. By following the steps outlined in this article, you can expand the reach of your videos and attract more viewers. So go ahead and enable syndication for your channel today!
