Seller Reviews:
Each site has to collect their own seller reviews. We cannot share seller reviews across two or more domains. Each domain should display their own widgets and seller reviews.
Product Reviews:
Product reviews can be shared with our product widgets at an additional cost. Shopper Approved is set up with the capability to share product reviews by using matching product IDs.
Note: We cannot share product reviews using matching MPNs (manufacturing parts number). The MPN is oftentimes used to aggregate variations of products together which could cause issues with product review sharing. It is possible to use the GTIN (global trade identification number), however, we don’t recommend it as this will require custom programming plus a maintenance fee.
To collect and share product reviews, we will need to know:
How many sites want to participate in the product review sharing?
Are all sites collecting and displaying reviews or is there a main “collector” site and the reviews will then be shared with the other sites?
Are all sites bundled under the same Main Account Holder? If they cannot be bundled under the same main account holder, product reviews cannot be shared at this time.
Are all product IDs identical? To successfully collect and share product reviews, all sites need to use the same Shopper Approved feed. If the same product feed cannot be used for all sites, sharing product reviews will be limited to identical product IDs.
What shopping cart are all of the sites using? We will need to confirm that the cart is passing an ID that we can work with; preferably this will be the same ID as what is in the product feed.
How will shared product reviews display in my Product Listing Ads?
All of the above is for sharing product reviews on your website via our widgets and is not related to aggregating reviews on Product Listing Ads.
Note: Only the site that “collects” the review will be sent through the Google feed.
