Trust Stack Presets
Presets for the Trust Stack are located in the upper left of the editor. You can copy the preset you’re currently viewing to create a new version with similar settings. From here, you can also remove a preset, revert it back to the default settings, or create an entirely new preset using the default configuration.
You can switch between editing the Top Bar and Bottom Bar using the options located beneath the preset selector dropdown.
Widget Code & Preview
To access the Trust Stack code snippet, click the “Get Widget Code” button in the upper right corner.
Below this button, you can toggle between desktop and mobile views to preview how the Trust Stack will appear across different devices.
Customizing the Trust Stack Bars
Below are the available customization options for both the Upper Bar and Lower Bar of the Trust Stack.
UPPER BAR
Upper Bar Content
The Upper Bar is partially customizable. The third section allows you to choose from a set of predefined messaging options. The left section will always display a “Rated” message, while the center section automatically shows your star rating and total review count. These two sections are not customizable.
Upper Bar Sections
Section 1: choose if the “by Shopper Approved” should display or not - the default setting for it to display
Section 2: Displays your star rating and total review count and is clickable. You can enter a custom URL to link to any page of your choice. We also provide the option to link directly to your Certificate page. Selecting “None” will disable the hyperlink.
Section 3: Highlights an additional trust message about your store, such as the percentage of customers who would recommend you or how your shipping is rated. You can also choose from one of three preset messages: “Made in the USA,” “Free shipping!” or “Satisfaction guaranteed!”
Style
Here you can adjust the colors, borders, dividers, and text sizes for the Trust Stack, including the content mentioned in the previous section.
Customization Options
Mobile vs. Desktop Settings: Highlighted in yellow, this option allows you to choose whether changes made on the left apply to both the desktop and mobile versions of the Trust Stack. If you unlink the settings, you can customize the desktop and mobile versions independently. Click here to view an example with the settings unlinked.
Background Color: Update the Trust Stack's background color using the color picker, or enter a specific hex code if you have one.
Drop Shadow: The Trust Stack includes a subtle drop shadow by default, which can be adjusted or removed entirely.
Section Dividers: Choose how sections are separated - vertical pipes, circles, diamonds, or no dividers at all.
Text & Star Size: Adjust the text size and color to match your design. By default, the star size in the middle section scales with the text size, but this can be unlinked for independent control.
Size
Adjust the size of the bar itself, both on desktop and mobile versions.
Size Settings
This section includes two sliders used to control the height of the Trust Bar widget, with separate settings for desktop and mobile. The widget’s width is automatically set to fill its parent container.
Note: Changes made in this section require you to re-add the widget code for updates to appear on your live site. Settings in the previous two sections can be adjusted at any time, and those changes will automatically reflect on your site once the cache clears (typically overnight).
BOTTOM BAR
Bottom Bar Customization
The Bottom Bar offers additional flexibility and customization options. You can choose to display either a single high-impact message or up to three benefit statements. You also have the option to feature a customer review, with the ability to include the author’s name if desired. As with the Upper Bar, the Bottom Bar includes controls for Content, Style, and Size.
Bottom Bar Content Options
Choose one of the following layouts:
Quote / Review: Add a customer quote or paste text directly from a review. Including the author’s name is optional.
Benefit Statements: Select from messaging options similar to those in the third section of the Upper Bar. The third section in this layout allows for a custom message.
High-Impact Statement: Display one concise, custom message designed to highlight a key benefit or unique selling point and encourage shoppers to convert.
Style & size
Just like the Upper Bar, you can customize the style and size of the Bottom Bar. Desktop and mobile settings can be linked or adjusted independently, depending on your preference.
